  Take That, Liberal Weenies
This man is awesome. Want to see a real warrior put the mealy-mouthed Democratic politicians in their place? Click the picture below and go watch the clip of General Louis C. Wagner letting Representative Jim Moran (D. Virginia) have it with both barrels.

I love Moran's response. Straight out of the DNC talking points. ("Well... uh... Ge.. General... uh.. uh.. we're not gonna end... uh... I'll respond. But..., um... I.. I...") While still looking like a dear in the headlights, Moran then mumbled something about respecting Gen. Wagner's point of view and his service. At this point Gen. Wagner turned on his heel and walked out in disgust.

Of note, Gen. Wagner's questions came after comments from Sergeant Mark Seavey, a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom. "I keep hearing you say how you talk to the troops and the troops are demoralized, and I really resent that characterization," Seavey said. "The morale of the troops that I talk to is phenomenal, which is why my troops are volunteering to go back, despite the hardships they had to endure in Afghanistan.
"And Congressman Moran, 200 of your constituents just returned from Afghanistan. We never got a letter from you. We never got a visit from you. You didn't come to our homecoming. The only thing we got from any of our elected officials was one letter from the governor of this state thanking us for our service in Iraq, when we were in Afghanistan. That's reprehensible.
"

Moran's response? "That wasn't in the form of a question, it was in the form of a statement. But, uhh... let's go over here." And he took the next question.

Comments:
I wonder how many funerals of returning troops [Bush] has attended?

(Edited for offensive content.)

Two things, Jay. How many funerals of troops killed in action has any President attended?

Did Clinton attend any funerals for troops killed on his watch? How about the Rangers & Delta killed in Somalia because of his policies? How about Johnson during Vietnam?

Second, how inconsiderate would it be for any President to attend such a funeral? The security procedures necessary, not to mention the media circus, would certainly be upsetting to the families.

Of course, that would give you one more thing to foam at the mouth about. "Look how little Bush cares. Look what he puts these grieving families through!"

"Two things, Jay. How many funerals of troops killed in action has any President attended?"

Well...Clinton didn't attend any because he never sent anyone into battle who didn't come back alive. Bush Sr. attended quite a few, as well as Reagan, Carter, Nixon, LBJ, Kennedy, Eisenhower, Truman, FDR...shall I go on?

"Second, how inconsiderate would it be for any President to attend such a funeral?"

I'm sure he would be very uncomfortable. That's probably why the returning dead soldiers (2468 as of last count) are offloaded in the US as cargo in the dead of night.

"Of course, that would give you one more thing to foam at the mouth about."

I've never criticized him for taking responsibility for his acts. I've never had the opportunity.

Jay: Clinton didn't attend any because he never sent anyone into battle who didn't come back alive.

The truth isn't in you, is it, Jay? Clinton took office in January of 1993. Task Force Ranger arrived in Somalia on 26 August 1993. On 3 & 4 October 1993, 18 soldiers, most from TF Ranger, were killed in a battle at Bakhara Market, the "Black Hawk Down" incident.

Jay: Bush Sr. attended quite a few, as well as Reagan, Carter, Nixon, LBJ, Kennedy, Eisenhower, Truman, FDR...shall I go on?

According to the Johnson Library, LBJ attended two funerals for soldiers who died during the Vietnam War. … Richard Nixon does not appear to have attended the funerals of any soldiers killed in Vietnam, although I found one site that said he attended two.

Carter attended a memorial service (not individual funerals) for the soldiers killed in the failed rescue of America hostages in Iran in 1980.

Ronald Reagan attended memorial services on several occasions for American soldiers. In 1983 he attended a service (again, not an individual funeral) at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, in connection with the bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut. In 1987 he attended a service at Mayport Naval Station in Florida for the sailors killed on the USS Stark.

Except for Johnson and perhaps Nixon, I can find no record of any President's attending funerals for service members

Do you have any facts that show otherwise?

Clinton didn't send them into battle, that was another Bush operation that Clinton inherited...but he did attend their memorials.

"Richard Nixon does not appear to have attended the funerals of any soldiers killed in Vietnam, although I found one site that said he attended two."

I know of one friend's that he did attend...likewise, more than George.

"LBJ attended two funerals for soldiers who died during the Vietnam War."

That seems to be about two more than George has done.

"Carter attended a memorial service (not individual funerals) for the soldiers killed in the failed rescue of America hostages in Iran in 1980."

I would cut George some slack if he would even attend a memorial. So far, his policy is to offload the bodies in the middle of the night like so much cargo where nobody can see them....or pay them the proper honor these brave men deserve.

"Ronald Reagan attended memorial services on several occasions for American soldiers."

Reagan respected and honored those he ordered to die. There are a lot of things I didn't like about Reagan...but his character was never one of them.

"Do you have any facts that show otherwise?"

You just showed me yourself. It's called the truth, and I know it hurts, but the simple fact is that Dubya cares nothing for military men and women beyond what he can get politically. Like all chickenhawks, he talks big on war...but lets others fight and die, then dishonors their sacrifice and the service of veterans. Like all chickenhawks, he is scum and not deserving of respect.

I look forward to your editing, smug in the knowledge that you are not fooling anybody but yourself.

Jay-

Clinton DID in fact send soldiers (and a few Airmen and sailors)into combat operations where not everyone came home alive. He didn't "inherit" the situation in Somalia. He made it worse! Can you say "mission creep"? As in, changed our direction in mid-operation. UN Resolution 794 called for the US led intervention "to use all necessary means to establish a secure environment for humanitarian relief operations in Somalia as soon as possible." This was the sole reason Bush Sr authorized the deployment of US combat forces. And we accomplished that goal without a single loss of life (coalition anyway) to hostile action. Mogadishu was a very quiet city within weeks of our arrival. Our combat loses starting occuring AFTER Clinton started issuing the orders.

Did Mr. Clinton and/or his cronies attend any of the funerals for the 18 Rangers who lost their lives on 3 October 1993? Not a single one. And it's probably just as well. Those men were my friends. Mr. Clinton would certainly NOT be welcome.

James-

Keep spreading the good word. America is listening and getting tired of the blatant lies the Looney Left has been foisting on us for years.

"Richard Nixon does not appear to have attended the funerals of any soldiers killed in Vietnam, although I found one site that said he attended two."

Jay: I know of one friend's that he did attend...

Let's see, you were like 15 when our last troops left Vietnam and Nixon left office. "One friend"? What a whopper!

Thanks for the support, Sparky. I know for a fact that you served, (which is more than we can say for Jay) and served under fire, (ditto) in Somalia, among other places. Good to hear from you.
